Women Against Violence Discussion Panel

Join us for a discussion on the effects of multiple types of violence against women in Kansas City and the resources available to heal. Make sure to take part in our Meet & Greet Raffle after the discussion by connecting with community members. We will also be holding a small clothing drive in the parking lot after the event to donate to the Truelight Women’s Shelter.

Panelists include Ondria Thornton clinical director of the Newhouse Domestic Violence Shelter, Rosilyn Temple founder of KC Mothers in Charge, Melesa Johnson of the Jackson County Prosecutor Office, Alice Kitchen of the Gender Equity Taskforce, and Cydney Williams of the REACH Program.
