
Kansas City is a city filled with resilience, faith, and strength — but it’s also a city burdened by violence, trauma, and grief that often goes unheard and unseen. On October 31st, we’re creating space to acknowledge that trauma… and begin the work of transforming pain into purpose.
“Healing Our Community: From Trauma to Action” is more than an event — it’s a movement. We’re bringing together faith leaders, trauma experts, violence survivors, families affected by loss, advocates, and grassroots organizers to confront the root causes of community trauma and chart real pathways to healing and safety.
