Economic Equity Town Hall

Swope Health President and CEO Jeron Ravin J.D. and author Ebony Reed will meet in conversation to discuss the Black-White Wealth Gap. This is the subject of a new book by Ebony Reed and co-author Louise Story, Fifteen Cents on the Dollar, on the history of American economic inequity, Black business ownership and government and business  practices that leave Black Americans behind.

The first 100 participants at the event will receive a gift of the new book “Fifteen Cents on the dollar” when it is available in June 2024.

The event begins with a reception at 5 pm. The conversation kicks off at 6 pm at the Kansas City Public Library, Plaza Branch, Truman Forum Auditorium, 4801 Main St., Kansas City, MO 64112.
