Prospect United Clean Up

Join us for Prospect United: Community Cleanup, the kickoff event of the Rooted on Prospect summer engagement series led by CJR Development Partners for the Southpointe @63rd redevelopment. On Saturday, July 19, we’ll come together to address visible blight along the Prospect Avenue BRT corridor, showing up for our neighborhoods through care, presence, and action.

Volunteers will gather at Kansas City G.I.F.T. (5008 Prospect Ave) and be transported to 7444 Prospect Ave, where the cleanup will begin. From there, we’ll walk and clean our way down to MLK Boulevard, then return to GIFT for light refreshments and community connection.

 Cleanup Route: 7444 Prospect Ave to MLK Blvd, returning to GIFT

All materials will be provided. Please wear bright colors, dress for the weather, and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. Water, snacks, and a support station will be available throughout the cleanup.
