May 13 @ 9:30 am - 11:30 am CDT

Free

Join KC 360’s Community Police Relations Subcommittee for a 2-hour workshop featuring Dr. John Hamilton, our subcommittee leader and faculty member of Park University’s Criminal Justice Department. He will provide an insightful overview of the Criminal Justice System and explore the vital role the community plays in shaping it.

You can expect to leave with a deeper understanding of:

  • The overall structure of the criminal justice system and how its components are interconnected.
  • The role of the community in influencing the system’s operation.
  • Which aspects of the system to focus on when addressing issues or concerns.

Furthermore, you’ll have the opportunity to share your ideas on how to educate the broader community and explore ways KC 360 can positively influence the criminal justice system in Kansas City.
