Corey’s Network Inc.’s 13th Annual Vigil For Unsolved Homicide Victims

Join us as we come together in remembrance and in resolve—to honor victims of unsolved homicides across the Metropolitan Kansas City Area and to mark the 12th Unniversary of our son, Corey Laykovich, who was tragically stabbed on July 26, 2013, and passed away two days later.

Vigil: 6:00 PM

Flyers honoring the lives lost will be displayed on the lawn of Speaks Funeral Home. We invite family, friends, and community members to walk among them, find their loved one’s flyer, take photographs, and reflect. There will also be space to share stories, celebrate lives, and speak to the weight of their absence.

We urge you to stand with us, whether or not your loved one’s case has been solved.

Your voice, your story, and your presence matter. Together, we shine a light on injustice. Together, we demand change. Together, we remember—and we refuse to let these lives be forgotten.
