Canvassing Training for Take Back the Block

Kimberly Miller, Founder & Director of Empire Dreams, is generously offering her time and expertise to train us on how to canvass specifically for this Take Back the Block initiative.

If you plan to canvass on Thursday, August 7th, please register to stay after KC 360 on Thursday, July 24th at 10AM for this important training. You’ll learn:

• The key goals of the canvassing event
• How the event will be organized and flow
• What to say when engaging with residents
• How to gather clear, accurate, and meaningful information

This training will help ensure that our outreach is impactful, respectful, and well-coordinated.

Can’t attend? Register for the Zoom training on Monday, July 28 at 6:30 PM.

If you are planning to canvass but are unable to attend a training, we will have you canvass with a trained participant.
