National Injury Prevention Day Kansas City November 16, 2024 Preventing Injuries & Saving Lives

National Injury Prevention Day 2024 is being recognized November 18, 2024.  As the sun goes down across the nation and a day of community outreach comes to a close, city landmarks will take on a new look. Trauma Centers, businesses, bridges, government buildings, and neighborhood homes will shine a green light to raise awareness of the importance of injury prevention. Injuries are the leading cause of death for people ages 1 – 44 and are preventable.

Please join us on Saturday November 16th from 10AM until 2PM @ Charlie’s House 2425 Campbell St KC MO where your local trauma centers are hosting a FREE safety event designed specifically for Teens & Pre-Teens, their parents/guardians.  Topics of focus include Roadway & Driver’s Safety, Firearm Safety, Violence Prevention, Fentanyl/Medication Safety and Suicide Prevention.
