The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) and Missouri Department of Mental Health (DMH) will be hosting listening sessions in Kansas City on August 1st from 2-4 pm to collect local-level feedback to guide state-level overdose prevention and response efforts. The Kansas City session will take place at the Bluford Branch of the Kansas City Public Library.
The intention is to focus on receiving feedback from communities who are disproportionately impacted by overdose in Missouri, including those with lived and living experience of substance use. If folks cannot attend the listening session in-person, there is a survey option on the flyer (attached) to provide feedback.
