SUMMARY:Green Core Training
DESCRIPTION:The Green Core Training is an environmental literacy and workplace readiness training for people who are trying to find employment. The five-week training introduces people to and prepares them for employment in more than 100 different green jobs. Our students earn stipends and complete pre apprenticeships with the US Department of Labor as Environmental Specialists. The training begins March 4 at the Robert J. Mohart Center\, but we are enrolling now. We meet with each prospective student before the class begins. Interested in becoming a student? Register online or email gctdirector@kccancompost.com to sign up. Registration deadline is Friday\, February 16.
